Pro Complex Review

The product I am going to be reviewing today is Pro Complex by Optimum Nutrition.
When I first  saw Pro Complex I instantly knew I wanted to give it a shot. Judging by the label and ingredient profile, Pro Complex has a 7 different types of proteins blended into one mix. Whey Protein Isolate, Whey Peptides, Egg Albumen, Glutamine, L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine.

So you may be asking yourself..why does it matter if  we have 7 different proteins into on mix? Well different types of proteins are absorbed at different speeds. For example whey protein is the fastest protein to be absorbed while casein takes hours to be absorbed. Whey is good for after a workout while casein is good before bed time.

Pro Complex doesn’t have the limitations above.. It has all the protein types you need for maximal body growth potential.

Does Pro Complex Actually Work?

In a short…Yes.

I used Pro complex for 3 months saw nothing but gains.

Pro Complex in addition to my usual fitness regimen has given me a consistent gain of 1-3lbs per week. I definitely got bigger and stronger within those 3 months. My recovery time was also a much faster then before.

How Pro Complex Did:

TASTE: 8/10

I tried the banana cream pie flavor and it was pretty good. I found myself getting rather bored with the taste after about a month in.

MIXABILITY: 10/10

Unlike a lot of other proteins, Pro Complex quickly and easily mixed with water.

INGREDIENT PROFILE:10/10

Very impressive. The ingredient profile alone persuaded me to try the product out. 55 grams of protein, 13 grams of BCAA’s, and 10 grams of glutamine per serving, with only 5 grams of carbohydrates and and a gram of fat ( 2 scoops), the profile is very good.

PRICE: 7/10

The price was a little high at first but after I used the product I can safely say it’s justified for the kind of quality you get.

OVERALL:

Pro Complex has a very good ingredient profile, its taste is solid, it mixes real well and most importantly of all it helped me get bigger and stronger.
