No Xplode Review
No xplode is one of the most well known supplements on the market. It has been around for a long time and has won several awards from various different supplement websites. Personally, I have never really been a fan of BSN supplements because of my bad experience with some of their other products but I just had to see what all the no xplode praise was about. So through the influence of peer pressure I went ahead and ordered a tub from amazon. I didn’t use no xplode exactly as directed on the label because I felt I would use up the tub way too fast. The directions say to take 1-3 scoops pre workout and 1 scoop on non workout days. What I did instead was I used 1-3 scoops pre workout and used regular creatine (much cheaper) on my non workout days. The only reason they say to use a scoop of no xplode on non workout days is because of the creatine content in it. You need to take creatine everyday if you want to keep its benefits and therefore BSN suggests you take no xplode everyday.
Energy/Focus
The very first time I took no xplode, I only used 1 scoop in order to assess my tolerance level. That 1 scoop wound up doing absolutely nothing for me. I didn’t feel any energy and my focus was pretty much the same as it was before I took no xplode. I was a bit disappointed but I knew that the dosage I took was too small for me. So on my next workout day I ramped the dosage to 2 scoops. My energy, focus and all around workout was better then it was when I took 1 scoop but I still wasn’t really satisfied. So finally I had to ramp it up to the maximum dosage of three scoops. I guess I had built up a strong tolerance to stimulants.
With three scoops the energy was good. It wasn’t too intense nor was it too weak, it felt just right. It made me feel excited to workout and it helped me break a few small plateaus here and there. The best part about the energy I got from no xplode was it always seemed to run out as the workout was finishing. With some other pre workout supplements, I felt like they were in my system all day even if I had super intense workout.
Lastly, no xplode’s energy did not cause jiteriness nor did it cause my heart to race like some other pre workout supplements. With 3 scoops, the energy I got was real nice for every workout.
Energy: 8/10
The focus I got from no xplode was solid. Through out the weeks of using it, it never let me down. Every time I took it, I felt adequately focused and ready to go in the gym. The only downside was the focus always started out strong but it seemed to slowly disappear mid way through the workout but I don’t if that’s from no xplode or was it the fact I would be super tired and therefore I could not focus as well. In any case I was satisfied overall with the focus.
Focus: 7/10
Pumps
If I had to choose one aspect of no xplode that I thought was the best, I would choose the pumps. Every workout no xplode made my muscles feel super pumped and made them look 10x more vascular. There is no bigger motivation in the gym then seeing your muscles look bigger and more ripped then ever before. Don’t underestimate the power of this type of motivation, It will encourage you to lift heavier and harder.
Pumps: 10/10
Price
Now that BSN added 25% more powder to no xplode the price has gotten a little better but it’s still one of the more expensive pre workout supplements. If you consider the type quality you get from no xplode then I’d say price is fair. Just be sure to shop smart to lower your costs as much as possible. Online stores are consistently cheaper even with shipping included then normal stores.
Price: 7/10
Overall
No xplode was a great supplement overall, even for a seasoned veteran like myself. The pumps were marvelous, the energy was nice and the focus was solid. If your looking for something to give you an edge in the gym then no xplode is a good choice. If your a newbie or just someone who is not used to taking stimulants then no xplode will be stronger for you then it was for me because of the tolerence levels. In any case, it will help you out no matter what level of experience you have.
