Are you looking for an honest Animal Pump Review? Then you’ve come to the right place.
I’ll be honest…I am always quite excited to try something new from Universal Nutrition because they have a good history of putting out products that I like and that works well for me. Keeping that good history in mind I decided to give Animal Pump a shot.
Animal Pump Review
For those of you who don’t know what Animal Pump is, It is a fusion of creatine ethyl ester, N.O, various energy substances and antioxidants, all mixed together with the goal of creating a powerful pre-workout stimulant. In each can of Animal Pump, you get 30 small packets with 9 pills within each packet. The way I used the product was taking 1 packet 30 minutes before my workout only. The directions on the product say to do it a little bit differently but I honestly can’t afford to use the product the way Universal Nutrition recommends. I would use up the can of Animal Pump way too fast.
With all that being said, let’s see how it actually did.
As the 30-minute mark passed, I was a bit disappointed at first. I didn’t feel any different then I did before I took the packet of Animal Pump. It was only about 10 minutes later that I started to feel it kicking in. I was kicking myself in the head for forgetting the label clearly says wait 30-45 minutes. I was clearly one of the guys that needed to wait toward the 40-minute mark and not 30.
Once the Animal Pump kicked in, I felt very focused. My eyes were like laser beams focused on the slow movements of the barbell. My mind was strongly focused on the contraction of muscles and the pushing of the barbell. Simply put.. the focus was absolutely fantastic. If your a person that has a wandering mind in the gym and you just can’t keep focused on the workout then Animal Pump is for you.
The energy in Animal Pump was also pleasing. Unlike a lot of other pre-workout supplements, Animal Pump did not make me jittery nor did it send my heart racing. The energy was very smooth and it ended well, I did not experience any nasty crashes afterward. Picture it like a seething hot piece of charcoal and not a huge wave crashing.
I was quite pleased with the pumps. My muscles felt bigger and more dilated then ever and it was as if they wanted to rip through my skin. It felt great to lift and the added vasodilation inspired me to life even harder.
The price of Animal Pump isn’t anything special. If you want to use the product exactly as recommended by the folk over at Universal Nutrition then I would say that price is a bit on the high side. If you want to use it the way that I did then the price is good. Considering the supplement was very effective the way I used it I will rate price based on dosing it in the cost-efficient manner.
Animal Pump Review Conclusion
Overall Animal Pump is an excellent product. From what you can read above, it is a cost-efficient product that provides excellent energy, focus, and pumps. All my lifts went up as I used the product and they delivered the types of results they promised.
One of the small setbacks of Animal Pump is the fact I and a lot of other people feel there is not enough creatine in the formula. The folks are Universal have presented us skeptics with the science behind that reasoning and we can’t really beat their scientific proof. The last little setback is the fact you need to take down 9 decently sized pills. If you are a person who has trouble with swallowing pills then stay away.
